The Micro Dicks (5-1) took down the Blue Ballers (2-4) in their final regular season showdown, closing out their campaign with a statement win. Coldblizzard once again proved why he’s considered the best player in the league, while Lil Nee is left needing a historic playoff run to keep his MVP hopes alive.
But with Coldblizzard now leading his team to a near-perfect record, is the MVP race already over?
Coldblizzard's Case for MVP – The True GOAT?
Coldblizzard has been the most dominant player in the NBLL this season, leading the Micro Dicks to a league-best 5-1 record. He once again showed up in the clutch, dropping three points, locking down six blocks, and holding Lil Nee in check just enough to secure the win.
After the game, Coldblizzard didn’t hold back:
"Confidence. I trusted my teammate, I trusted myself. I knew this guy wasn’t shit, and you know, I won the game with full confidence. We sat him down."
If MVP voting was based purely on winning and consistency, Coldblizzard would be the clear choice. But there’s still one man standing in his way…
Lil Nee’s Last Stand – Can He Steal MVP in the Playoffs?
Lil Nee has been the most electric player in the NBLL, and even in defeat, he still made highlight-reel plays, including what he called the goal of the year.
When asked if this loss shook his confidence, Lil Nee fired back:
"Not at all, honestly. I just had the goal of the year in that one play, so honestly, I think I am deserving of the MVP."
But then, in classic Lil Nee fashion, he turned his attention to the Micro Dicks:
"This time he had a random ass teammate with him who did fucking nothing. You know, this team is still buns. That’s why I left them. I mean, like, they just fucking suck. I am the one who carries them."
Whether or not Lil Nee’s confidence is justified will come down to the playoffs. If he can pull off a deep run and take home the championship, he could flip the MVP debate on its head.
The MVP Debate – Who Wins?
At this moment, Coldblizzard is in the lead. He has the wins, the stats, and the dominance. But Lil Nee still has the playoffs as his last shot to take it back.
If Coldblizzard leads the Micro Dicks to a title, he cements himself as the undisputed GOAT.
But if Lil Nee can put together a legendary postseason run, carrying the Blue Ballers to a championship… the conversation isn’t over just yet.
MVP is still up for grabs. Now it’s time to see who really wants it.
